For this assignment I decided to do a picture of the train station in Detroit, MI. I drew out what it looked like and then traced over in in pen. To top it all off I used many different colors of acrylic paint to paint it with.
I enjoyed how you used mixed media! Using the pencil, then pen, and then topping it off with paint really helped the artwork look more realistic. Using the view that you did makes the movement of this piece start at the fence and work up, it seems to actually move upward! I really enjoy this element of your work. The multiple buildings do not take too much away from the picture due to the fact you used the neutral color of greys at the bottom building. The perspective of the painting is my favorite part! Well done!
