Acrylic Paint- Trees, Waves, & Waterfalls

February-March 2012

On the left hand side of the page I painted a waterfall. On the top right I painted pine trees, with a reflection of them into the water. Finally, on the bottom right I painted a wave. I think this wave looks really good. Both the waterfall and wave was painted using a fan brush.

Acrylic Paint- Wave

February-March 2012

I practiced painting the wave in the blue ocean. I do not think it was my best wave, but it was my first one. I painted the background with two different blues, one for water and the other for sky. I then proceeded with a fan brush to paint the wave.

Acrylic Paint- Tree and Cloud

I used acrylic paint and the round brush to paint many clouds in the sky. I used a whiter paint and a darker color on bottom. In the water I have small waves.

Acrylic Paint- Flowers

I used an orange background and painted flowers using acrylic paint on top of it. I used the stringer bruch and the round brush to make them. The flowers are red with green stems. I like the leaves on the middle flower.

Watercolor Paint- Barn

January 30th, 2012

I was assigned to paint a barn with trees in the background. I used more vivid colors to paint this scene. I really like the trees and my barn in this painting. To paint the grasses I used the stringed brush and I used the sponge to put the leaves on the trees.

Watercolor Paint- Emotions

January 19th, 2012

I used five different emotions all painted in watercolor. The yellow and orange one is happy; The background is yellow with orange painted on with a fan brush. Blue is for sadness; I dripped water on it after it was painted. The black with brown dots represents anger. The rosy pink color is love, and the green represents a calm feeling.

Watercolor Paint- Van Gogh

January 2012

I used watercolor paint to paint my version of "Starry Night." To paint it, I used a sponge which allowed the moving effect shown in the picture. I dotted the sponge on the paper to make the stars look how they doin Van Gogh's picture.

Watercolor Paint- Weave

January 2012

I used warm and cold colors for the different layers of the weave. The warm colors are the background and the cold colors are woven into the background. I tried to make it look like a sun.
